Honors Biology II is participating in Water Watch this year.  We spent the morning of April 24th testing two different sites along the Boardman River.

Mill Pond is a little cold in April but the Honors Bio II class braves the elements all in the name of science.

Site A was the Mill Pond and Site B was the river behind the airport on Island Lake Rd.  Students performed Dissolved Oxygen, pH, Phosphates, Nitrates, Temperature Change, Turbidity, Total Solid, and Fecal Coliform Tests.

They also sampled the river bottom for macro invertebrates to determine the health of our piece of the Boardman Watershed.  We will be spending the next five days in class evaluating our test results.
