Kalkaska Public Schools to provide free breakfast and lunch for kids this summer
Free breakfast and lunch will be available for school age children at the Birch Street Elementary School cafeteria this summer.
Meals will be served Monday - Friday beginning June 9 through Aug. 22. Breakfast will be open from 8 – 8:30 a.m. and lunch will be served from 12 – 1 p.m. All food must be consumed at the meal site.
Later this summer, Kalkaska High School will also be serving breakfast from 7 a.m. – 8 a.m. and lunches from 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. The high school meal location will be open from Aug. 18 through Aug. 28.
