Rapid City students earn trip to Borders Books
MARCH: A MAGICAL MONTH OF READING
March was a magical month at Rapid City Elementary. Children of every grade experienced the imaginable and unimaginable, as books served as their doorway to magical worlds.
Mrs. Heller’s “Magic Mirror” (pictured the students below) answered after she asked it:
“Mirror, Mirror on the wall,
who’s the magical reader of all?”
Readers from every grade level, having read the most magical moments, won an all expense paid magic show, lunch and shopping trip to Border Books.
As spring vacation comes and goes, and if you have missed out on a
road trip to somewhere, don’t despair. Just open a book and start
reading. You too – will be magically carried away to another place
and time. Enjoy your spring journey.
