School weight room will be open for summer conditioning
On Tuesdays
and Thursdays from June23 through August 6, there will be free
conditioning and flexibility classes at the high school weight room
from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. These classes will include yoga
(non-religious type), kick boxing, and aerobics. Students and
staff are invited. Students who wish to use the weight room
during that time, may do so if they bring a spotter with
them.
This is our
second year of hosting this class. It helps athletes keep in
condition during the summer and keeps students and adults more
active. We use a variety of DVDs; people can bring their own
DVDs which we will try.
Participants
don't have to come every time. To improve conditioning, it is
important to be consistent in participating as much as
possible.
