Birch Street houses most of Kalkaska Public Schools' youngest children. Programs and classrooms include the Headstart Program, Four-Year-Old Program, two Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District Pre-Primary impaired rooms, Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, and Third Grade.
Birch Street staff is experienced and sensitive to the needs of young students. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate and stimulates new understanding.
