Now the planning begins!
Improvements will take place after Feb. 23 election

Now that a special election has been approved, planning will begin for improvements to the Kalkaska High School, Birch Street Elementary and Kalkaska Middle School.
Voters narrowly approved a bond proposal that will mean enclosed classrooms at Birch Street Elementary, a new auditorium, and replacement of a 50-year-old boiler at the Kalkaska High School, just to mention a few of the highlights in the proposal.
