Can You Spare A Dollar?

Music Students Earn Blazer Pride Gear and Trip Funds

It doesn't get much easier in supporting your favorite music student than to just hand them a dollar (or more)!

For four years, the Kalkaska Music Boosters have offered the Can You Spare A Dollar campaign to help our students earn money for the Blazer Music t-shirts or hoodies with the balance, after costs, to be deposited in their trip accounts. Beginning in 8th grade, students may travel to Detroit to watch the State Marching Band Championships or, as has happened in the past, made trips to NYC, Chicago, even Disney World! Using this fundraiser to simply ask a variety of friends, neighbors, and relatives for one dollar is an easy way to earn that t-shirt AND deposit some serious cash into their account for future trips.

These sheets, along with the shirt/hoodie order forms are due back to Mr. Chissus by Friday, September 26. Families are welcome to purchase a shirt or hoodie instead of using the fundraiser but all music students, 7-12, are expected to have one or the either for use on trips or for performances. The Kalkaska Music Boosters will be rewarding our new sixth grade band members with a FREE spirit tee in November, so they may use the Can You Spare A Dollar fundraiser towards purchasing a hoodie and/or for their trip accounts. NOW is a great time to get that account started.
