Miss Kalkaska Raises Money
Miss Kalkaska Lindsay Boger, a 2012 graduate of Kalkaska High School, has donated winter coats, hats, and mittens to the district to be used by children in need this season.
Lindsay raised the money to purchase the items by holding a "pumpkin roll" in October. She had a great turnout for the event, and wanted the money she raised to go toward a good cause. Lindsay is a college student, cook at the local hospital, and gymnastics instructor. In spite of her busy schedule, she wanted to help today's students.
