Kalkaska K-12 Virtual Program looks to provide a different approach for students and families to access their child’s education. We strive to produce productive and civic-minded lifelong learners and to operate a program that helps all students master essential skills, communicate effectively, and think critically empowering them to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing global society.
Our K-8 program is taught by long-time Kalkaska teachers that teach ONLY virtually and offers the ability for students to have one on one connections with our teachers.
For our 9-12 grade students, we offer classes through Michigan Virtual. Students have a wide range of options and access to opportunities to complete the work. Each student has a Kalkaska advisor that works in small groups and individually with students to help them reach their goals.
