Music Boosters Gift Spirit Tees to New Band Members
Available for Purchase, also
For several years, the Kalkaska Music Boosters has presented 6th grade band students with their first Blazer Music spiritwear once they've completed the first marking period. Recently, Boosters President Deb Ball-Odeh handed out forms to all 6th grade band kids so they could order their shirts. Included on that form is the opportunity to participate in "Can You Spare A Dollar?, a campaign that allows students to ask friends, neighbors, and relatives for a dollar in support of music trips the students take during their music education with KPS. This helps lighten the financial load for parents each time a trip happens. These forms are due back by Thursday, December 10 and may be turned in to Mr. Chissus.
Earlier in the school year, the KMS 7/8 grade band students were given the opportunity to participate in this trip account findraiser which would also help them earn their spirit tees. If your family did not order a tee for your band student at that time, you may do so now. The cost of the shirt is $11. Extra shirts may also be purchased for family or other supporters at the cost of $15. You may use the same form, linked below. Our director, Mr. Chissus, asks that all 7/8 students have this shirt as they wear them for the Trout Festival parade in April. This will be the last opportunity to buy them. Checks may be written to Kalkaska Music Boosters.
