Transportation Department
Welcome KPS Parents,
We are delighted to have your students on board with us this school year. Our primary mission is to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for every student, ensuring they arrive at school ready to learn and return home safely each afternoon.
Our team of highly trained drivers, aides, and staff are dedicated to maintaining the highest safety standards. We operate on a foundation of care, professionalism, and commitment to the well-being of your children.
Here’s what you can expect from us and how you can help us maintain a smooth operation:
- Safety First: All of our vehicles undergo rigorous maintenance checks, and our drivers receive ongoing training in safety protocols and student management.
- Reliability & Communication: We strive for punctuality. In the event of an unavoidable delay or important schedule change, we will notify you through our established communication channels as quickly as possible.
- Partnership: We view parents as crucial partners in the transportation process. Please ensure your student is at their designated bus stop ten minutes before the scheduled arrival time and encourage them to follow all bus safety rules.
We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to a successful partnership in safely transporting your children.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Transportation Department office directly at 231-564-1518 or email Anastasia at aweatherholt@kpschools.com.
Sincerely,
